SEEYA!
A small coterie of Lincoln Mensans gathered at Grisanti's restaurant in east Lincoln Saturday August 23rd to say "farewell" to Steve and Marjorie Burnham. As Steve's retirement from federal service nears, they are making their plans for a move to California.
Present at the festivities were Tom DeShazo, Jean Danielson, B.D. Softley and son Grant, Danny and Carol Doeden, Tom Munion, Kerin and Jim Bunstock, and, of course, the Burnhams. Tales were told, memories recalled and a fair bundle of food consumed. As is the wont with this group, jokes and puns abounded, most of them falling into the "groaner" category.
As the celebration drew to a close, congratulations and well-wishes flowed, writing a more or less official end to Steve and Marjorie's decades of involvement with the Lincoln Mensa group.
